On January 25, 2024, Language Institute of Thammasat University (LITU) welcomed visitors from Daily China, Dr. Gloria Peng and Mr. Hu Linhui, to discuss working together. The meeting, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supakorn Phoocharoensil, Director of LITU, took place on the 3rd floor of the LITU building at Rangsit campus.

During the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supakorn Phoocharoensil provided an overview of LITU and its academic services. Additionally, the focus was on exploring opportunities for collaboration with China Daily, a major English-language newspaper in China. China Daily also serves as an organization that oversees international academic events related to English Language Teaching.

The discussions covered various collaboration ideas, including co-creating English language teaching courses, co-organizing international conferences, facilitating faculty exchange and also promoting student exchange.
