The Language Institute of Thammasat University (LITU) held a merit-making ceremony and LITU DAY activities to celebrate its 40th anniversary from 19–21 December 2025 at Thammasat University, Tha Prachan Campus. The event brought together faculty members, staff, and alumni to celebrate this important milestone and to reconnect through learning and shared experiences.

Over the three days, the Institute organized several activities focused on learning and professional development. On 19 December, doctoral alumni joined Beyond PhD: Academic Boot Camp – Unlock Your Academic Journey, which helped them prepare for academic careers. On 20 December, a merit-making ceremony was held in the morning to bring good fortune to the Institute, followed in the afternoon by friendly talks with former directors, retired lecturers, and alumni who shared their study and work experiences. The day ended with a discussion on Insights into Academic Title Promotion, led by experienced academics.

On 21 December, master’s degree alumni took part in a workshop on Leveraging AI for Professional English Skills, while doctoral alumni completed the final day of the Academic Boot Camp. All activities were organized under the theme “40 Years of LITU: Building the Future, Honoring the Past,” highlighting the Institute’s pride in its history and its vision for the future.
