On August 20, 2025, Thammasat University, led by Prof. Dr. Supasawad Chardchawarn, Rector of Thammasat University, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supakorn Phoocharoensil, Director of the Language Institute, met with the Department of Skill Development, represented by Director-General Dechar Peukpattanaruk, at Thammasat University, Rangsit Campus.

The meeting focused on possible areas of collaboration, including curriculum development and training programs, credit transfer systems, support for cooperative education, as well as standardized English testing, which will be overseen by the Language Institute.

This collaboration aims to strengthen the knowledge and skills of the Thai workforce, especially in foreign languages, to meet labor market demands and adapt to future changes.
