TU-GET Paper-based Test is an academic English language proficiency test from LITU.
It is divided into 2 sections: (A) Error identification with 13 questions and (B) Sentence completion with 12 questions, for a total of 25 questions and 250 points.
It is divided into 2 sections: (A) Cloze with 15 questions and (B) Synonyms with 20 questions, making a total of 25 questions and 250 points.
Test takers will read a passage and answer questions, totaling 50 questions with a maximum score of 500 points.
TU-GET (PBT) is not scored as “pass” or “fail”. Instead, each institution sets its own criteria for score acceptance and usage.

The score is used as part of the application process for positions at Thammasat University, including both teaching and administrative roles.
Some faculties require students to submit English language proficiency test scores that meet certain standards in order to graduate.
You can apply for the test even after the normal deadline, but not later than 3 days before the test date. To do this, email your details to tuget@litu.tu.ac.th and call 087-972-7755 to let us know. Our staff will guide you on how to register and pay.
If you’re an undergraduate student at Thammasat University, you can get a student discount. Just choose the “Student” category when you register for the test. If you’ve already registered as a general applicant and want to change to a student applicant, contact our staff at 087-972-7755 to request the change.

Your seat number will be announced about 1-2 days before the test date. You can check it in advance on the application website under the “Location and Seat Number” section.
You won’t need to print test tickets; you can see your seat number again at the test center.
All test takers (including students) can wear appropriate casual attire.
For the on-site exam, prepare your ID card, a 2B pencil, an eraser, and a pen. You can bring other belongings and place them under your seat.
It takes about 5-7 days to grade TU-GET CBT scores. After that, you can see your score on the application website, and the score report will be sent by mail.
The first score report will be mailed only; you can’t pick it up in person. If you need it urgently, request a new score report for 50 baht per copy.
We will send the score report to all applicants by registered mail to the address provided in the system. Make sure your address is correct. If you don’t receive the score report and it hasn’t been returned, you have to request a new one.
To get a new or additional score report, visit LITU counter at Rangsit or Tha Prachan, Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-4:30 pm (except on public holidays and institute announcements).
It costs 50 baht per new score report, payable through QR code scanning. You can pick it up immediately, and someone else can request it for you. If you can’t come in person, make a request on the application website, and the staff will process it within 24 working hours.

Usually, we don’t offer refunds for test registration fees unless there are extraordinary circumstances like an epidemic or unforeseen events. In such cases, we’ll arrange for rescheduling or refunds and communicate this in advance.
You can change your test session within the same test date, but you can’t switch to a different test date or change the test taker’s name.
If you apply for the wrong test type, you won’t be eligible for a refund; you’ll need to reapply for the correct test.
HR or organizations interested in holding TU-GET PBT tests to measure the English proficiency of their employees can register your interest so that staff can contact you for test arrangement recommendations.
